Our History
Ca Veja R&B is a Room & Breakfast in Forlì, in the heart of Romagna, surrounded by the countryside and set within a 6-hectare agricultural property, with cultivated land and a vineyard. Our home is a traditional country house that has been renovated over the years, with the guest rooms completed in 2021.
Our project was born from the desire to offer a high-comfort form of hospitality outside the traditional hotel environment, in a spacious, quiet setting surrounded by nature. A place where staying in Forlì also means rediscovering the pleasure of space, silence and the rhythm of the seasons.
Ca Veja is designed for those looking for a B&B in Forlì away from traditional models, where contemporary comfort meets the authentic character of a country house, with original furnishings, vintage and industrial atmospheres, and a country-chic renovation.
The Garden
Nature is an integral part of the Ca Veja experience. Around the house and its buildings, large trees of different species and sizes create a true green setting, providing shade, coolness and the feeling of being immersed in nature, while still being just a few minutes from Forlì.
The garden, inspired by the New Perennial movement, unfolds among trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials and ornamental grasses, in a natural and informal composition that changes with the seasons.
Behind the house, towards the vineyard, the landscape takes on a more agricultural character. Here you will find fruit trees grown for our family and several olive trees that accompany the path alongside the vineyard.
In spring and summer, the garden comes alive with flowers and movement, while the large trees create the feeling of a true green woodland. In autumn, the trees change colour and the garden offers what we like to call a second spring.
For our guests, above all, it is a place to enjoy: a space for silence, shade, light, scents and the natural rhythm of the countryside.
A Home Born from Two Passions
Ca Veja grew from the meeting of two different experiences, united by a shared passion for things made with care.
Paolo has always had a natural inclination for imagining, designing and building. He sketches his ideas, finds solutions, restores and transforms, combining creativity and planning with the practical craftsmanship that allows him to give shape to what he imagines.
Many of the objects and furnishings throughout the house were born from this ability to see new possibilities in things: sturdy pieces, many of them part of our own history, that were waiting for the opportunity to be adapted and given a new lease of life.
I brought to Ca Veja my experience in the Travel Industry, developed over many years of work and travel in different countries, where I had the opportunity to discover and observe different standards of hospitality.
This experience shaped our attention to the quality of the guest experience and to the details that are not always immediately noticeable, but make a real difference: the care of the rooms, housekeeping, the quality of the linens, cleanliness, comfort and attention to our guests’ needs.
I imagined and created rooms where comfort, functionality and aesthetics could coexist with the attention to detail that I consider an essential part of quality hospitality.
From these two experiences, Ca Veja was born: a home with a strong and distinctive identity, where creativity and restoration meet contemporary comfort, and where many elements tell our story.
Luxury Is in the Details
In the world of travel, luxury does not necessarily mean ostentation. It is the ability to take care of guests through a multitude of details, some obvious and others almost imperceptible, which together make all the difference.
For us, luxury means a bright, spacious and quiet room, an exceptionally comfortable bed, fresh-smelling linen, an environment that conveys cleanliness and care, modern bathroom fittings, a generous shower and furnishings that step outside the ordinary precisely because they are unique.
It is the combination of all these details that can transform a beautiful room into a place where you can truly feel at ease.
And then there is breakfast.
We love good, fresh bread and high-quality products and ingredients, and we are demanding when it comes to what we buy.

The owners
In addition to Claudiano, the cockerel from the hen house, and the 3 hens Olga, Elves and Dora who live in a brick “annexe” before you reach the vineyard, there are also Paolo and Valeria, a couple with an unconventional style. Paolo is a multifaceted man and his activities range from technical work in the construction sector to a passion for the countryside, tractors, animals, nature and exploration. Valeria has always been involved in travel and this B&B is one of her journeys.
